The Housewife’s Role - What Is Your Personal Take On It

posted by admin in Uncategorized

There are many different opinions around the roles of a housewife or simply just what the role of a stay at home woman should be. It is very much a personal thing and something which should definitely be discussed between man and wife.

A housewife should not be considered only good enough to obtain comet discount codes. She should be treated as an equal in the home. If you live in a home with a partner who’s willing to contribute 50 percent of the household chores, then you have definitely found a winner. Several women love to stay at home and take care of all of the household duties and they are quite satisfied with their husband bringing home the bacon to support the family.

However if you have small children then you might find it hard to manage all the cleanup, cooking, housework and caring for the little ones. In this case, it is important that you explain this to your husband so that you both can come up with some sort of a compromise.

A woman should understand that when her hubby comes home from work, he might require a little down time to put up his feet and grab a favored beverage. However, it is when he starts to expect you to be there at his beckon call to wait on him hand and foot that some household rules should be enforced. Your hubby must understand that you too need some rest and relaxation every once and a while. On top of this, you also deserve a day or night out of the house every so often.

This can give you a sense associated with individuality and look in yourself as a individual rather than a housewife or mom. Do not give up your activities outside the home, it is good to get out as well as mix with other ladies and talk about women stuff.

Moving Out

posted by admin in Uncategorized

So, at the grand old age of twentysomething, I’m finally making the break and moving out of my parents’attic. Girlfriends have been telling me for years that a guy my age who still lives with his folks is not that attractive and after being single for over a year, I’m starting to see their point.
But that’s not the only reason I’m moving out. How shallow would that be? The main reason is that I can finally afford it. I’ve saved up cash from a few pieces I’ve sold, enough for a deposit, a bed and some furniture sale and I’ve got some regular work at my friend’s bar which still leaves me time to sit around in coffee shops, staring wistfully out of the window trying to look like a writer.
The place I’m moving into isn’t really your classical writer’s garret though. Actually, it’s a basement flat, which at this time of year is going to be depressing as hell, but has the advantage in the summer of coming with a small garden attached. At the moment it’s a jungle, but I’ve already signed some mates up to do a spring clean out there once the weather gets better; and in return I’ll host the first barbecue of the year when the sun starts to shine!
I haven’t hosted a barbecue for ages. My folks have a big garden at their place, but it’s all very prim and proper, with every flower and bush in it’s place, so I was terrified if my friends came round for a drunken garden party, then the whole place would get trashed. At my new flat, even if they trashed the tidied up garden it couldn’t look worse than it does already!

Why people don’t care

Why people don’t care

Why people just don’t care? Why people are self-centric and ignorant mammals? Why the farthest they can see is the end of their shoes. Even though we see the suffering every day all over the news we just turn our heads. Because it is always easy not to think about bad things, about people dying, about the fact that Mother Nature is in pain, she is suffering from her children. But the truth is that it is all here, and More
